Does anyone have tips for local transport to interviews? - what worked for you?

The bus takes almost an hour to reach the places hiring as a delivery driver. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I do not want to be late. What do you use?

I planned routes the night before with a trip planner and left twenty minutes early.
