Does anyone have tips for local transport to interviews? - what worked for you?

I do not have a car and interviews in Nashville are spread around. I worked as an office manager before this. I can walk part of the way. Are there discounted passes?

Our transit agency has a reduced-fare pass for people with low income. The application took a week.
