Does anyone have tips for local transport to interviews? (update)

The bus takes almost an hour to reach the places hiring as a teaching assistant. It has been a long 15 weeks. I can walk part of the way. Any rideshare programmes?

Some workforce centres hand out bus tokens for interviews. Ask at the desk.
