Does anyone have tips for local transport to interviews? (update)

I need a cheap way to get to several appointments. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I do not want to be late. What do you use?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 3 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

Some workforce centres hand out bus tokens for interviews. Ask at the desk.
