Does anyone have tips for local transport to interviews? (update)

I need a cheap way to get to several appointments. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I do not want to be late. Are there discounted passes?

Some workforce centres hand out bus tokens for interviews. Ask at the desk.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
