Does anyone have tips for local transport to interviews? (update)

I need a cheap way to get to several appointments. I worked as an event coordinator before this. Some employers are off the main lines. Are there discounted passes?

Some workforce centres hand out bus tokens for interviews. Ask at the desk.

Our transit agency has a reduced-fare pass for people with low income. The application took a week.
