Does anyone have tips for local transport to interviews? (Sacramento)

I do not have a car and interviews in Sacramento are spread around. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I can walk part of the way. Are there discounted passes?

Our transit agency has a reduced-fare pass for people with low income. The application took a week.

If you can, schedule interviews back to back in the same area to save fares.
