Does anyone have tips for local transport to interviews? (Minneapolis)

The bus takes almost an hour to reach the places hiring as a school bus driver. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. Some employers are off the main lines. Are there discounted passes?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
