Does anyone have tips for local transport to interviews? - first time posting

I need a cheap way to get to several appointments. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I can walk part of the way. Are there discounted passes?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 5 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
