Does anyone have tips for local transport to interviews? - first time posting

I need a cheap way to get to several appointments. Any experience at all would help. I can walk part of the way. What do you use?

If you can, schedule interviews back to back in the same area to save fares.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 7 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
