Does anyone have tips for local transport to interviews?

I do not have a car and interviews in Austin are spread around. I have been trying to stay organised about it. I can walk part of the way. What do you use?

Our transit agency has a reduced-fare pass for people with low income. The application took a week.

If you can, schedule interviews back to back in the same area to save fares.
