Does anyone have tips for local transport to interviews?

The bus takes almost an hour to reach the places hiring as a security officer. There are 5 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I can walk part of the way.

Our transit agency has a reduced-fare pass for people with low income. The application took a week.

Some workforce centres hand out bus tokens for interviews. Ask at the desk.
