Does anyone have tips for local transport to interviews? (Birmingham)

The bus takes almost an hour to reach the places hiring as an electrician's helper. It has been a long 15 weeks. Some employers are off the main lines. Any rideshare programmes?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
