Does anyone have tips for local transport to interviews? (Baltimore)

The bus takes almost an hour to reach the places hiring as a call-centre agent. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I can walk part of the way.

Some workforce centres hand out bus tokens for interviews. Ask at the desk.
