Does anyone have tips for local transport to interviews? - any advice?

The bus takes almost an hour to reach the places hiring as a store manager. I do not usually post, so bear with me. Some employers are off the main lines. Are there discounted passes?

I planned routes the night before with a trip planner and left twenty minutes early.
