Does anyone have tips for local transport to interviews? - any advice?

The bus takes almost an hour to reach the places hiring as a welding apprentice. I do not usually post, so bear with me. I do not want to be late. Are there discounted passes?

Some workforce centres hand out bus tokens for interviews. Ask at the desk.
