Does anyone have tips for local transport to interviews? - any advice?

I do not have a car and interviews in Austin are spread around. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I do not want to be late.

Our transit agency has a reduced-fare pass for people with low income. The application took a week.

I planned routes the night before with a trip planner and left twenty minutes early.
