Does anyone have tips for local transport to interviews? - any advice?

The bus takes almost an hour to reach the places hiring as a sales associate. There are 3 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I do not want to be late. Any rideshare programmes?

Our transit agency has a reduced-fare pass for people with low income. The application took a week.
