Does anyone have tips for local transport to interviews? - any advice?

I need a cheap way to get to several appointments. I worked as a copywriter before this. I can walk part of the way. Any rideshare programmes?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
