Does anyone have tips for local transport to interviews? - any advice?

I do not have a car and interviews in Boston are spread around. There are 10 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I can walk part of the way. Are there discounted passes?

If you can, schedule interviews back to back in the same area to save fares.
