Does anyone have tips for local transport to interviews? - any advice?

I need a cheap way to get to several appointments. There are 14 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. Some employers are off the main lines. Any rideshare programmes?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
