Does anyone have tips for local transport to interviews? - any advice?

The bus takes almost an hour to reach the places hiring as a data-entry clerk. I am in Tulsa, in case local advice matters. I do not want to be late. Are there discounted passes?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
