Does anyone have tips for local transport to interviews? after 6 years as a procurement assistant

The bus takes almost an hour to reach the places hiring as a procurement assistant. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. Some employers are off the main lines. What do you use?

I planned routes the night before with a trip planner and left twenty minutes early.

Some workforce centres hand out bus tokens for interviews. Ask at the desk.
