Does anyone have tips for local transport to interviews? after 6 years as a mechanic

The bus takes almost an hour to reach the places hiring as a mechanic. I can walk part of the way. Any rideshare programmes?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 9 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
