Does anyone have tips for local transport to interviews? after 6 years as a teaching assistant

I need a cheap way to get to several appointments. I am in Wichita, in case local advice matters. Some employers are off the main lines. Any rideshare programmes?

If you can, schedule interviews back to back in the same area to save fares.
