Does anyone have tips for local transport to interviews? after 5 years as a customer-service rep

The bus takes almost an hour to reach the places hiring as a customer-service rep. I do not usually post, so bear with me. I do not want to be late. What do you use?

I planned routes the night before with a trip planner and left twenty minutes early.
