Does anyone have tips for local transport to interviews? after 3 years as a medical assistant

The bus takes almost an hour to reach the places hiring as a medical assistant. There are 3 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I can walk part of the way. What do you use?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
