Does anyone have tips for local transport to interviews? after 18 years as a security officer

I need a cheap way to get to several appointments. I worked as a security officer before this. I can walk part of the way.

Our transit agency has a reduced-fare pass for people with low income. The application took a week.

Some workforce centres hand out bus tokens for interviews. Ask at the desk.
