Does anyone have tips for local transport to interviews? after 17 years as a security officer

The bus takes almost an hour to reach the places hiring as a security officer. I have been trying to stay organised about it. I can walk part of the way. What do you use?

Some workforce centres hand out bus tokens for interviews. Ask at the desk.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
