Does anyone have tips for local transport to interviews? after 16 years as a nurse's aide

I do not have a car and interviews in San Diego are spread around. Thank you in advance. I can walk part of the way. Are there discounted passes?

Some workforce centres hand out bus tokens for interviews. Ask at the desk.
