Does anyone have tips for local transport to interviews? after 15 years as a production planner

The bus takes almost an hour to reach the places hiring as a production planner. I do not want to be late. Are there discounted passes?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 5 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
