Does anyone have tips for local transport to interviews? after 14 years as a bookkeeper

I do not have a car and interviews in Kansas City are spread around. I have been trying to stay organised about it. I can walk part of the way. Are there discounted passes?

Some workforce centres hand out bus tokens for interviews. Ask at the desk.
