Does anyone have tips for local transport to interviews? after 13 years as a graphic designer

The bus takes almost an hour to reach the places hiring as a graphic designer. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I can walk part of the way.

If you can, schedule interviews back to back in the same area to save fares.
