Does anyone have tips for local transport to interviews? after 10 years as a payroll clerk

The bus takes almost an hour to reach the places hiring as a payroll clerk. It has been weighing on me all week. Some employers are off the main lines. Are there discounted passes?

I planned routes the night before with a trip planner and left twenty minutes early.
