Does anyone have tips for local transport to interviews?

The bus takes almost an hour to reach the places hiring as a janitorial supervisor. I have been trying to stay organised about it. Some employers are off the main lines. What do you use?

If you can, schedule interviews back to back in the same area to save fares.
