Does anyone have tips for local transport to interviews? - 9 months and counting

The bus takes almost an hour to reach the places hiring as an administrative assistant. I do not usually post, so bear with me. I can walk part of the way.

Some workforce centres hand out bus tokens for interviews. Ask at the desk.
