Does anyone have tips for local transport to interviews? - 8 weeks in

The bus takes almost an hour to reach the places hiring as a mechanic. It has been a long 8 weeks. I can walk part of the way. What do you use?

I planned routes the night before with a trip planner and left twenty minutes early.

Some workforce centres hand out bus tokens for interviews. Ask at the desk.
