Does anyone have tips for local transport to interviews?

I need a cheap way to get to several appointments. I am in Atlanta, in case local advice matters. Some employers are off the main lines.

If you can, schedule interviews back to back in the same area to save fares.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 6 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
