Does anyone have tips for local transport to interviews? - 6 weeks in

The bus takes almost an hour to reach the places hiring as a dental hygienist. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. Some employers are off the main lines. Are there discounted passes?

Some workforce centres hand out bus tokens for interviews. Ask at the desk.
