Does anyone have tips for local transport to interviews? - 6 months and counting

The bus takes almost an hour to reach the places hiring as a payroll clerk. It has been a long 3 weeks. I can walk part of the way. What do you use?

Our transit agency has a reduced-fare pass for people with low income. The application took a week.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
