Does anyone have tips for local transport to interviews? - 3 months and counting

The bus takes almost an hour to reach the places hiring as a security officer. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. Some employers are off the main lines. Any rideshare programmes?

I planned routes the night before with a trip planner and left twenty minutes early.

Some workforce centres hand out bus tokens for interviews. Ask at the desk.
