Does anyone have tips for local transport to interviews? - 3 months and counting

The bus takes almost an hour to reach the places hiring as an accounts payable clerk. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. Some employers are off the main lines.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
