Does anyone have tips for local transport to interviews? - 17 weeks in

The bus takes almost an hour to reach the places hiring as a call-centre agent. Any experience at all would help. I can walk part of the way. Are there discounted passes?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 7 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
