Does anyone have tips for local transport to interviews? - 13 months and counting

The bus takes almost an hour to reach the places hiring as an IT help-desk technician. I worked as an IT help-desk technician before this. I can walk part of the way. Any rideshare programmes?

Some workforce centres hand out bus tokens for interviews. Ask at the desk.
