Does anyone have tips for local transport to interviews? - 13 months and counting

I need a cheap way to get to several appointments. There are 13 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I can walk part of the way. Are there discounted passes?

Some workforce centres hand out bus tokens for interviews. Ask at the desk.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
