Does anyone have tips for local transport to interviews? - 11 months and counting

The bus takes almost an hour to reach the places hiring as a graphic designer. There are 4 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I do not want to be late. What do you use?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
