Does anyone have tips for local transport to interviews? - 11 months and counting

The bus takes almost an hour to reach the places hiring as a delivery driver. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I can walk part of the way. Any rideshare programmes?

Our transit agency has a reduced-fare pass for people with low income. The application took a week.
