Dealing with the isolation of unemployment - what worked for you?

Being out of work for 9 months has worn me down more than I expected. Thank you in advance. I do not want to pretend I am fine. How do you ask friends for support?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 9 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
