Dealing with the isolation of unemployment - what worked for you?

I am trying to look after my mental health while I search. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I do not want to pretend I am fine. What helps you?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
