Dealing with the isolation of unemployment (update)

I am trying to look after my mental health while I search. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I do not want to pretend I am fine. Did you talk to someone?

I told two friends how I really felt. It was uncomfortable, but it made things lighter.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
